Childhood and youth
Alexander was born in December 1927 in the village of Mokino (Kirov region). His parents were Philip Sergeevich and Anna Dmitrievna, who, besides him, had four more sons.
A large family of Vedernikovs lived a peculiarclan on the bank of the river Vyatka. All the men of the family were engaged in making carriages. Working tirelessly, they carried out orders for many customers and produced carriages of very different purposes: from workers to ceremonial. Of all circles of independent activity, Vedernikov Alexander Filippovich chose the Fine Arts, intending to later become a member of the choir. However, this dream was not destined to come true: during auditions the young man was prevented by his breaking voice.
