The drug "Grippol plus" is influenza, inactivated, polymer-subunit, trivalent vaccine. It is used for both subcutaneous and intramuscular administration.

The vaccine "Grippol plus" consists of protectiveantigens isolated from purified influenza A and B viruses that are grown on chick embryos. Every year, changes in the antigenic composition of the vaccine are carried out in strict accordance with the change in the epidemic situation.

The drug is slightly opalescenta liquid that is either colorless or has a yellowish hue. The use of this tool helps to form immunity against influenza. Its action "Grippol Plus" begins approximately a week and a half after the introduction into the body, and its effect persists throughout the year. The vaccine is effective for patients of any age. In 75-95% of vaccinated people, protective titers of antibodies are determined for influenza viruses. Since the composition of the drug includes immunomodulator - polyoxidonium, it increases immunological memory and reduces the vaccine dose of antigens. The drug is designed for specific prevention of influenza for adults of any age and children, starting with three years.

The use of the vaccine "Grippol plus" is particularly indicated in the following cases:

Also in this category are those who often suffer from acute respiratory disease, have respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, metabolic disorders, and allergic reactions to something;

- people who, thanks to their professionmost are at risk of influenza, and can also infect others. These are categories such as trade workers, health workers, social workers and educational institutions, as well as military and police personnel.

Method of use of the drug "Grippol Plus"

Vaccination is usually done in the fall and earlywinter or before the onset of a massive population of flu. The vaccine is injected into the muscles or deep into the skin in the amount of 0.5 ml. Usually, adults are injected into the deltoid muscle, and children - in the front of the thigh. Before the introduction of the ampoule with the vaccine should be heated to room temperature and shake well. The drug is administered once.

In the presence of immunodeficiency and upon receipt of immunosuppressive therapy, 0.5 ml of vaccine can be administered twice with an interval of one month.

On the day when the plannedvaccinations, the patient must be examined by a doctor and thermometry. If the body temperature is above 37 ° C, vaccination should not be done. Side effects
