Ivanovo is one of the key cities in Russia,located in the Central Federal District. One of the main crafts is needlework and fabric production. The last draft of the emblem was approved in 1996. It depicts a young girl in a traditional Russian dress:

  • Silver shirt with a golden collar and red embroidery on the sleeves.
  • A scarlet sundress, also decorated with gold embroidery.
  • A traditional Russian hat is a kokoshnik of red color with gold ornaments, a silver shawl is put under it.
