Is it worth to go to the sandy beaches of Crimea

You can argue indefinitely about which beachesbetter - sand or pebble. Probably, these disputes will never abate, because their zealous supporters have both types of coasts. The fact that the broken shell, capable of seriously cutting the feet, is not the best beach cover and a convenient approach to the sea, everyone knows, but between sand and pebbles, many can not choose. And after all, going on vacation to the Crimea, it is important to know on which particular coast you are going to rest. So, what is better: the pebble or sandy beaches of the Crimea?

Adherents of pebbles claim that small pebblesmake an ideal massage. If the sea is agitated, they do not rise from the bottom, and the water remains transparent. Pebbles do not fall into the eyes, do not creak on the teeth, in windy weather a cloud does not fly in the air. Fans of diving have a lot to look at such rocky coasts and there is absolutely nothing to do on a boring and lifeless sandy day. And lovers of sandy beaches insist that the sand massages feet not worse than pebbles, there is even a special treatment - psammotherapy. If the pebbles are large, it is inconvenient to lie on it, it is dangerous to walk on it, because you can dislocate your leg. In a storm, a wave can hurt your legs with stones. Beaches from roundworms, as a rule, have a steeper approach to the sea, while sandy beaches are shallow. And certainly from the sea cobblestones you will not build castles, you will not bury them, you will not play on an uncomfortable beach in volleyball. However, supporters of both camps can reconcile the Crimea. Sandy beaches are found here less often than pebbly, but the fragments of rocks caressed by the sea are the smallest, and sometimes on the pebbly beaches you can find wide bands of sand.

The southern coast of Crimea, stretching from the bay of Aya(south of Sevastopol) in the west to Sudak in the east, is mostly famous for its stone beaches. This is due to the fact that it is surrounded from the north by mountains - these are the rocks and are the main "building material" of local beaches. Particularly large and untethered wrecks carry to the shore mountain rivers - in their estuaries one must be more careful! But even here sand lovers can find in abundance what they need. This is the so-called pocket sandy beaches of the Crimea. The fact is that sometimes the sea also contributes to the construction of the beach and brings from the depths into the narrow coves between the rocks of a ton of "sea dust". Such are the paradise towns near Laspi, Batiliman, Ayazma, near Balaklava. In fact, between the capes of Aya and Ai-Todor, you can, if desired, find convenient and hidden coves with clean sand. Further to the south, such places are found except in stripes among the rocks and in the form of placers east of Alushta: in Soter, Malorechensky, Solnechnogorsk, Rybachy and Morskoy.

But where in the Crimea sandy beaches stretch tokilometers, so it is in the north-western and north-eastern parts of the peninsula. To the north of Sevastopol, from its suburbs (North Side, Mokrousov) stretch the wonderful, outgoing beaches of Kachi, Orlovka, Uchkuevka, Lyubimovka. It is impossible not to mention the sandy beaches of Crimea around the city of Evpatoria. The city itself was known as a children's resort exclusively due to its wonderful sand and healing mud. To the north of Evpatoria are equally famous places - 2 km of the purest "sugar" in the village of Gromovo, the beaches of Mezhvodny, Olenevka, Okunev, Belyaus. To the south of Evpatoria there are large sand and pebble beaches of Beregovoi, Nikolaevka, Peschanoy.

In the west and north-west of the peninsula, sandythe beaches of the Crimea also deserve attention. Already from the Quiet Bay near Koktebel, coastal dunes and barkhans begin, continuing through Ordzhonikidze to Feodosia with its famous Golden Beach. North of Feodosia, there is also something to choose for lovers to luxuriate on the dunes - Sand, Golden - the names of the resorts speak for themselves. And there is a Spa, Novootradnoe. Then follows a short break in the form of a stormy and unpleasant for rest Kerch Gulf, and again endless beaches with golden sand, but already the Azov Sea: Shchelkino, Mysovoe, Arabatskaya arrow
