Guam Gorge

The Guam Gorge is a unique naturala monument of incredible beauty. Its age is millions of years. It is located 50 kilometers from Apsheronsk, in the north of the Lagonak Highlands. This natural canyon was formed by the Kurdjips River. The height of its walls reaches 800 meters.

At the beginning of the 20th century, rock was cut downand a railway was built. It was used to transport timber to the city. Recently, the railway was reconstructed. There are regular tours. All interested persons can ride a diesel locomotive at any time of the year.
