The station is located behind the Ring Automobileexpensive (KAD) in the Nevsky district of the Municipal District of Rybatskoye and is the terminal stop of the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya metro line. Railway platforms and a metro stop connect two underground pedestrian crossings. One of them is still inoperative.

For facing wall surfaces and supportingcolumns of the station "Rybatskoe" were used marble slabs of white and gray colors. The floor of the platforms is lined with polished granite. Thanks to the windows installed in the upper part of the building, the station has enough lighting in the daytime. Above the tracks in the northern part of the station there are balconies, but the passage through them is closed.
