Step-by-step drawing of a bow
This is a very easy lesson. In just 4 easy steps, even an aspiring amateur will master the technique of this elementary drawing.
So, how to draw a bow in stages?
Step 1. First you need to determine the place on the paper, wherewill be located a bow. Place without pressure, draw a simple pencil. In the center of the designated space, draw a slightly oblate oval. This is the future node. From the oval up, to the sides and down symmetrically, take away 6 smoothly curved lines, as shown in Figure 1.
Step 2. Now draw the main elements. To do this, on each side of the line, which move away from the oval-node upwards and to the sides, combine the pattern in the form of a heart. And the upper contour will be located slightly higher than the corresponding upper base line. For clarity, see figure 2.
The two lower lines are the basis for the imagehanging ends of the tape. Draw the hanging ends of the ribbon so that the corresponding lower base lines are in their center. For convenience, refer to figure 2.
The ends of ribbons can be made any, to your liking. In our example, the artist depicted them in the form of 2 large teeth at each end of the ribbon.
Step 3. The basis of the lesson is "How to draw a bow" learned. Let's add a natural look to the picture. To do this, we draw the notches in the oval so that it looks like a knot of light fabric, in the form of an elongated drop, we will paint the lower parts of the left and right wings of the bow. To depict the folds of the fabric, we draw on each wing two short horizontal streaks emerging from the center of the knot.

Step 4. The eraser gently removes all the auxiliary lines that were drawn at the 1 st stage. If you did the right thing, your drawing will look like the final figure 4.
