Choose the size

How is the star made of paper? The three-dimensional design creates a small 3-D effect, and the picture is not so flat. First, you need to determine the size, then cut out seven identical strips, cut at the edges at an angle of about 45 degrees.

Step 1

We begin to make petals. To do this, put a strip of paper in front of you with a narrower side up. Then put the glue on the right end and press the ends of the paper strip, overlapping them on top of each other.

Step 2

To ensure that the ends do not diverge, you can add moreglue and additionally fasten with an ordinary linen clothespin and clerical clamp, which will hold the end parts until the glue dries completely. Such simple manipulations must be done with all the ends of which our paper star will consist. The volumetric scheme suggests making a seven-pointed model. When the parts are ready, you can proceed to step number 3, their connection together.

Step 3

After complete drying, it is necessary to glue together all the petals, arranging them in a circle in such a way that the tops of the paper cones form the central part of the star.

So, having connected two elements, gluing their sides, it is also necessary to fix them for a while with the help of clothespins.

So, with the gradual consolidation of all elements, an improvised sun from petals and clothespins will be obtained.

Step 5

Well, here's a paper star ready. The seven-pointed volumetric scheme can be executed in a variety of shades and sizes. As an additional decoration, you can glue several small beads or sequins to the center of the star. Color can also be varied using different shades of paper strips in the same star. This decoration can be safely used as an element on a gift box, Christmas tree or decorations for anything.

Such large stars are made very simply. I need paper, glue and scissors. You can experiment with different colors and textures to create a variety of effects. Finished stars can be decorated with glitter and tiny buttons. Having made simple geometrical measurements and following simple instructions, you can make quite nice 3-D figures.

Fantasy to help you!

A ruler can be used for measuring. To draw a circle, you need a compass or a simple glass.

At the same distance from each other drawpoints on a circle, then connect them by lines, but not adjacent ones, but through one. Thus, inside the circle two triangles are formed - a kind of pictogram. Then you need to cut out the shape. To make the volume required to make folds, as if dividing all the small triangles in the figure into two halves.

So one-sided star made of paper is made. The three-dimensional scheme on the Christmas tree is done in the same way, only two halves are glued together. Having shown a share of imagination, you can decorate with such hand-made articles not only the walls and the New Year tree. Products can perfectly serve as elements of a gift decor. Attaching to them a piece of multi-colored ribbon or thread, you can decorate such homemade stars with a gift bottle of wine, as well as form a whole colorful garland.
