The subject of macroeconomics

The subject of macroeconomics is determined by itsobject. It, in turn, is a system that has the ability to transform natural resources into material goods suitable for use in society in the process of certain production relations. Given the foregoing, the subject of macroeconomics, first of all, should reflect the nature of the national economy, as well as the mechanisms by which it becomes possible to solve the main economic problems in society.

At the same time, this discipline is called upon, with oneparties, to investigate real facts, to identify cause-effect relationships in the work of the mechanism. On the other hand, the subject of macroeconomics should give recommendations on the improvement of this mechanism for more effective application of existing resources. The purpose of such improvements is to achieve the maximum level of satisfaction of the needs of society. Thus, macroeconomic functions are not only cognitive, but also applied.

Cognitive direction studies persistent connectionsand dependencies, which are inherent in the economic national system. This direction is called positive or macroeconomic analysis. At the same time, discipline is associated with expressions of subjective opinions that have a recommendation character - in the form of concepts, theories, and models. They are focused on creating techniques for achieving goals. This direction of the industry is called macroeconomic regulation.

The analysis, conducted within the framework of the discipline, exploresactual state of the management system. Macroeconomic regulation is an instrument of economic policy and establishes what exactly in the economy should be present and what methods exist to achieve this presence.

For example, analysis determines a highthe unemployment rate in the country. At the same time, macroeconomic regulation establishes that unemployment should be reduced to a natural rate by increasing government spending.

The effective operation of the national system of management is also achieved on the basis of self-regulating characteristics of the market mechanism, and with the help of the state regulation lever.

The subject of macroeconomics relies, first of all,on the conclusions and provisions of political economy regarding the development of production relations, on the operation of objective laws and the mechanisms of their application in the practice of economic activity, as well as on expanded reproduction.

The discipline described is one of the sciences, engaged in the study of the laws of existence and development of the system of economic activity. It should be noted that the economy is a complicated structure. In connection with this, other disciplines are also engaged in studying this system. They include, in particular, political economy, marketing, microeconomics, management, functional and industrial economics, and others.

At the same time, there is a closestatistics and mathematics. Macroeconomic methods are, among other things, methods of economic and mathematical modeling. Their application turns discipline into an exact science and makes it possible to make the transition from qualitative analysis to quantitative, while evaluating the phenomena, processes and patterns that occur in the system of management.

Thus, scientific views are formedOn the activities of the economy at the national level. Using analysis in the study of consequences and factors, develop and some recommendations, techniques of active influence on the object of study.
